3R Hunting Services, LLC is owned and operated by Justin Weishuhn. We offer customized hunting management geared to allow ranches to run ranching and hunting in a beneficial union. Unlike an outfitter, we work closely with the ranch owners to select a specific hunting group with skills and goals matching those offered by the ranch.
The first step of their service is to conduct an interview with the owners to evaluate their goals and expectations regarding hunters. The second step is to evaluate the game, ranch conditions and layout, and facilities. The third step is to prepare a very specific management plan. Once this is finalized, hunter selection is conducted.
The key to successful management is a hands-on management style including continual follow-up with the hunters and communication with the owners. Each year a final report is prepared to summarize the hunting results and identify adjustments for coming year. Prior to the season start the hunters receive guidelines for the up-coming year.
The goal of these steps is better game management. Over and over, the benefit of strict game management is more and better quality game. In turn, quality repeat hunters are beneficial ranch management.
It is important to stress that no two ranches and hunter groups are alike. Management is a very personal and specifically designed for each ranch.
3R Hunting Feed is also owned and operated by Justin Weishuhn. Record Rack Feed manufactured by Cargill, Inc is the primary feed supplied. Numerous variations of feed are available from Cargill and can be supplied on all types of deliveries, ranging from individual feeder loads to truckloads.
